Bologna is a 12-year-old pit bull that was severely neglected. He was medically alerted at the North Central Shelter, as a geriatric dog, with ataxic in his right hind leg, skin irritation, skin masses and visual impairment. A senior dog has little to no chance in the LA shelter system. He was likely going to be euthanized. He needed love and medical attention and he received exactly that from a dedicated family who was looking specifically for a pit bull. His mom Sarah said, “Honestly we feel so lucky we found him when we did. I would hate for such a sweet baby to not have a home”.
